The increasing emphasis on environmental sustainability has encouraged higher education institutions to adopt Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices to promote sustainable campus development. However, limited research has examined the influence of these practices on students' emotional well-being, particularly within the context of Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effectiveness of GHRM practices in developing sustainable campuses and improving students' emotional well-being in higher education institutions. A quantitative research design was employed, and data were collected from students, faculty members, and administrative staff through a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using statistical techniques, including descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings reveal that GHRM practices significantly contribute to sustainable campus development, which in turn positively influences students' emotional well-being. The study highlights the importance of integrating sustainability initiatives into institutional policies and practices to create environmentally responsible and
psychologically supportive educational environments. The findings offer valuable
implications for university administrators, policymakers, and researchers seeking to enhance sustainability and student well-being in higher education institutions.
