Author: Vijay Kumar Tiwari & Amar Nath Tiwari

ABSTRACT
Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of the economy, contributing around 30% to India's GDP and employing over 110 million people. Yet they have historically faced persistent challenges persistent challenges in credit access and cash flow management due to rigid banking norms and limited market reach. The rapid evolution of
financial technology (FinTech) and the widespread adoption of digital payment systems have significantly transformed the operational landscape of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This paper examines how the rapid advancement of Fintech, digital lending, electronic wallets, embedded finance, and unified digital payment ecosystems has catalyzed a growth surge in the SMEs sector. Using a mixed-method approach, this research synthesizes empirical evidence and recent case studies to evaluate how digital payment transformation enhances business outcomes. The findings indicate that digital transformation has reduced operational costs by up to 20% and improved credit accessibility for previously unbankable enterprises. The paper concludes that fintech serves as a critical enabler of SMEs growth,
particularly in emerging economies, and recommends policy interventions to maximize its benefits.

Author:

SUSTAINABLE AGRIBUSINESS MODELS: INTEGRATING CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND RESOURCE-BASED VIEW PERSPECTIVES
Author: Manish Dixit, Mridul Upadhyay

This study explores sustainable agribusiness models through the integration of circular
economy (CE) principles and the Resource-Based View (RBV). The research aims to
understand how agribusiness firms can enhance environmental sustainability and achieve competitive advantage by adopting circular practices and leveraging internal capabilities. Using a conceptual research approach based on an extensive review of existing literature, the study identifies key dimensions such as resource efficiency, waste valorization, eco innovation, and digital transformation as critical drivers of sustainable agribusiness. The findings suggest that circular economy practices enable firms to reduce environmental impact while creating economic value through efficient resource utilization and closed-loop systems. Simultaneously, the RBV perspective highlights the importance of firm-specific resources, including technological capabilities and knowledge systems, in successfully implementing these practices. The study also emphasizes the role of innovation and stakeholder collaboration in facilitating the transition toward sustainable agribusiness models. Overall, the integration of CE and RBV provides a comprehensive framework for developing resilient, efficient, and competitive agribusiness systems.

A GRIBUSINESS VALUE CHAINS UNDER TRANSFORMATION: A THEORETICAL SYNTHESIS OF EFFICIENCY, EQUITY, AND SUSTAINABILITY
Author: Jaswant Singh, Karishma Sharma

This study develops a theoretical synthesis of agribusiness value chains by integrating the dimensions of efficiency, equity, and sustainability within a unified analytical framework. Drawing on extensive secondary literature, the research examines how technological advancements, institutional mechanisms, and environmental considerations are reshaping modern agribusiness systems. The study highlights that while digitalization and supply chain innovations enhance operational efficiency, they may also create disparities in access and participation among stakeholders. At the same time, increasing emphasis on inclusive practices and sustainable production reflects a shift toward more balanced and resilient value chains. The findings suggest that these three dimensions are deeply interconnected and must be addressed simultaneously to achieve long-term transformation. The study contributes to
theoretical development by proposing a systems-based perspective and offers insights for policymakers and practitioners aiming to design inclusive, efficient, and sustainable
agribusiness strategies.

DE-GLOBALIZATION VERSUS RE-GLOBALIZATION: A THEORETICAL REASSESSMENT OF GLOBAL TRADE DYNAMICS
Author: Sagar Joshi, Shubham Gaur

evolving relationship between de-globalization and re-globalization. In recent years, the global economy has experienced significant disruptions due to financial crises, geopolitical tensions, and the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to debates about the possible retreat of globalization. Using a conceptual research approach supported by secondary data from 2012 to 2022, the study analyzes trends in global trade growth and identifies patterns of contraction and recovery. The findings suggest that rather than a complete reversal, globalization is undergoing a structural transformation characterized by regionalization, digital trade expansion, and the reconfiguration of global value chains. The study highlights the increasing role of technology, policy shifts, and sustainability concerns in shaping the future of global trade. It concludes that de-globalization and re-globalization are interconnected processes reflecting the adaptive nature of the global economic system.
