to make customers feel supported and valued. The use of social media interaction allows
brands to receive both positive and negative feedback from their customers as well as
determining what media platforms work well for them. As such, online marketing has
become an increased advantage for brands and businesses. It is now common for consumers
to post feedback online through social media sources, blogs and websites on their experience
with a product or brand. It has become increasingly popular for businesses to use and
encourage these conversations through their social media channels to have direct contact with
the customers and manage the feedback they receive appropriately.

A STUDY OF WIRELESS NETWORK SECURITY TECHNIQUES
Author: Charanjeet Singh, Ramandeep Kaur

Introduction
WLAN or Wireless Local Area Network is a term used for the networks in which a user can
have a high bit rate network connection through a wireless (radio) connection. The WLAN
networks are usually high in bit rate but relatively short in range. There are several standards
that specify the different kinds of WLANs.The physical architecture of wireless networks
uses Access Points (AP) to connect to the normal wired network and they provide wireless
access to clients (e.g. laptops, PDAs) with WLAN Network Interface Cards (NIC). WLANs
may also be set up between two devices with a NIC, and it is possible to use the WLAN
technology to build larger ad hoc networks as well. The subsequent sections will review the
various techniques that are usually employed to strengthen the security in WLANs along with
their potential merits and vulnerabilities.

EDUCATION, EMPLOYABILITY, EMPLOYMENT, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP: MEETING THE CHALLENGE OF THE 4ES
Author: Yashodha Chopra

Introduction
The poor functioning of the 3Es of education, employment and employability has resulted in
growth not being translated into sustained poverty reduction in India. Added to this is the
fourth E of entrepreneurship which, had it been effective, could have delivered the desired
employment outcomes. India, like many other Asian countries, is going through five labour
market transitions: farm to nonfarm, rural to urban, unorganized to organized, subsistence
self-employment to decent wage employment and school to work. India’s population, long
considered a curse, has turned into a desirable demographic dividend. But a demographic
dividend does not mean just people; it means skilled, educated or employed people. India
became a middle-income country in 2007. In PPP terms, it became the third largest economy
globally in 2013 after the United States and China. By 2028, it will be the world’s most
populous country. The labour force in the industrialized world will decline by about 4 percent
in the next 20 years, but will increase by 32 percent in India. This challenge of jobs facing
India is daunting. With the world’s youngest population of 730 million people in the working
age group of 15-59 years, India will have one million young job-seekers join its labor force
every month for the next 20 years. Other countries, in the recent years China, have reaped
rich dividends from this demographic transition by employing its young productively. To
reap this demographic dividend which is expected to last the next 25 years, India needs to
equip its workforce with employable skills and knowledge

THE POTENTIAL OF TITANIUM DIOXIDE NANAOPARTICLES IN WASTE WATER TREATMENT
Author: Amrit Kaur

Introduction
It is estimated that 10–20 million people die every year due to waterborne and nonfatal
infection causes death of more than 200 million people every year. Every day, about 5,000–
6,000 children die due to the water-related problem of diarrhea. There are currently more
than 0.78 billion people around the world who do not have access to safe water resources
resulting in major health problems. Nanotechnology has been considered effective in solving
water problems related to quality and quantity. Nanomaterials (e.g., carbon nanotubes
(CNTs) and dendrimers) are contributing to the development of more efficient treatment
processes among the advanced water systems. There are many aspects of nanotechnology to
address the multiple problems of water quality in order to ensure the environmental stability.
This study provides a unique perspective on basic research of nanotechnology for
water/wastewater treatment and reuse by focusing on challenges of future research
